How To Feel It with Michele Schifferle-Marzulli and Eileen Moran.

At the HSTI Stage closing ceremony for this inaugural weekend, enjoy a live musical meditation featuring the cello, Himalayan bowls and other overtone emitting instruments.

This peaceful sound experience inspired by nature will be a to honor this special time of year.   In the animal and natural kingdom, the blossoming of Spring is a season of birth and growth.   We will use the voice and instruments from around the world, both native and new, to help connect us to this season, to ourselves  and to the world around us.   This will be a meditative journey that can spark the imagination..

About Therapeutic Sound

Healing sounds through specific instruments can help entrain the brain to move into brain wave patterns that induce deep meditative and peaceful states, clarity of mind, and relaxation. Sound can positively  impact our nervous system, engaging our relaxation reflex and inhibiting the stress or pain response.

The intention of  Sound Healing is to move us from a place of imbalance to balance. Within stillness, we participate in becoming more open and aware of each sound that comes in. Sound helps create the pathway to this place of stillness, providing a deep space of relaxation.

Bios

Michele Schifferle-Marzulli,  a cellist and multi-instrumentalist, works with sound and music as a vessel for well being and support. She has worked the past 25 years as a performer and as an educator in Early Childhood Education and Music. Currently, Michele can be found facilitating Sound Mediations around NYC. I love sharing this practice.  I believe music has the ability to heal, feel and connect. We are able, together, to create an intentional space for wellness, clarity and support in what you need.
